Our story has humble beginnings
About Us
What began in the late 80s as a potato farm and packing shed, Tualatin Valley Blueberries was born from the desire to likewise grow, pack, and ship quality fresh-market blueberries on our family farm in Scholls, Oregon. We packed and shipped our first crop of blues in 2000 and have since expanded our capacity to accommodate a dozen additional growers to the tune of several million pounds packed through our facility in 2018. We have since closed the doors to our potato packing venture, partnered with California Giant as our marketer, and in 2017, completely remodeled the old potato shed to blueberry standards, considerably expanding TVB's operational square footage and fresh-market capacity.

A CO-PACKING MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN
We have partnered with California Giant Berry Farms since 2012 and have co-packed over 20 million pounds together. Fruit handled through our facility is packed under the California Giant label and shipped to customers worldwide who know and trust our brand.
FOOD SAFETY IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORTY
We complete annual third-party food safety audits to ensure the highest standards of food safety are followed in our facility.
Each clamshell that leaves our facility is inspected for quality and safety.
Our equipment and entire facility is scrubbed clean and sanitized at the end of each day's run in order to maintain cleanliness and food safety.
We ensure cleaning is done properly in our facility using state of the art technology to test for sanitizer residue.
Tualatin Valley Blueberries is a certified Organic Packing Facility and has received a "Superior" Rating from Primus GFS for six years running.
Our employees are trained on the most current food safety handling practices and we discuss food safety as a priority at our weekly all-staff meetings.
We are extremely proud of our top-notch Food Safety Program and of our company's efforts to prioritize the safety of our product.
JOIN OUR TEAM
Each year, we hire around 100 seasonal employees for a variety of positions within our organization, including sorting berries, heavy lifting, forklift driving, packing, and data entry. Tualatin Valley Blueberries offers full and part-time postions with competitive wages in a positive work enironment.
